Firstly I’d like to say a HUGE Thank you for choosing my idea for the Jenrick Experience. When Simon told me I had been chosen I felt SO happy and excited and as soon as I told Elliott he was just buzzing with excitement too and we couldn’t wait to book it.

On Tuesday 15th July 2008 we went to London Zoo for the “Keeper for a Day” experience. We arrived eagerly at 9am sharp and ready for the day ahead, I had butterflies not knowing what to expect. (Below is a picture of us on the train on the way up there VERY excited!!!).

Firstly we were introduced to our Zoo Keeper Ben, he took us to a briefing room and told us what he had planned for the day. He also went through a safety briefing and basically said to do exactly as he tells us to do and do not touch or stroke the animals unless instructed.
