Pearson Education profiles Jenrick for Universities throughout the UK

Pearson Education has just completed a detailed video profile of The Jenrick Recruitment Group, which will be utilised within Universities jenrick-filmed-as-leading-uk-company-for-wellbeingthroughout the UK.

The fact that Pearson, the largest education resource supplier within the UK, has chosen Jenrick is an incredible honour in its own right.

Pearson is only producing eight company profile films for the series, which will highlight companies that display ‘industry best-practice’ and could have chosen any number of companies throughout the UK and beyond from which to feature. (more…)

Taxman gets new power to trace debtors

New powers forcing organisations and individuals to tell Revenue & Customs ir35the whereabouts of suspected tax dodgers are incoming for the tax authority.

Until now, it was up to mobile phone companies, councils and utility providers to volunteer the address of a person if HMRC requested it to collect their tax debt.

But under the Finance Bill, which is due to become law in a few weeks, third parties face a hefty cash penalty if they refuse to aid HMRC in locating the taxpayer. (more…)

Jobless are effing and blinding at IT recruiters

Job-seekers despairing at the lack of opportunities are lashing out at recruiters - shouting, swearing and demanding that they put them forward for roles even if they are unsuitable.

Agents being strong-armed into submitting a CV, even when its author fails to meet the job specification, is a growing reality at more than half of recruitment firms. (more…)
