The Burton office of Jenrick recently conducted a complimentary CV clinic at the local plant of a Multinational Precision Machinery Corporation. (more…)
In July 2007 the Jenrick Group made a commitment across the entire company to introduce complimentary bowls of fruit within each of its four locations.
The drive was to designed to encourage staff to have healthy snacks throughout the day, instead of chocolate bars or biscuits, plus at the same time, promote the message of ’5 portions of fruit and veg each day is good for you.’
The move was met with a very positive response from all members of staff with Samantha Coates, from the Commercial division of the company, providing her feedback:
“It is such a nice gesture from the company. We were already very lucky as we have a kitchen where the company provide tea, coffee and squash, but to now receive fruit is very generous.
We all take it in turns at the start of each week to go and buy the fruit, and I have to say that I’ve ended up trying a lot more varieties that I would ever buy for myself.
We’re definitely all using the tuck shop a lot less now, which has to be a good thing and I don’t have those energy highs and lows anymore which, from a work perspective, does make it far easier to concentrate throughout the day.”
